Things to consider before you bid

Please note that all of our items are used in some sense. It is of utmost importance to examine the item you are interested in carefully before placing a bid. If you are unsure about an item, please ask more questions, request more pictures or visit our location so you can look & inspect the item before placing a bid.

We place great importance on profiling the products carefully and writing condition reports that closely match reality, usually well-executed.
We know, for example, that many auction houses never print weights, we have chosen to print weights on all items that we consider to be essential.

If you have any other questions, you are welcome to call our support line or read more in our FAQ.

Starting price? Resale right? Surveillance price?

There are many words in the auction industry that can be a question mark for you as a buyer. In our FAQ you can read exactly what all the terms mean.

Starting price! Is the term we use as a benchmark for the actual value of the item and is usually set based on the final price of previous auctions. Please note that this is only a benchmark and the actual final price may either be higher or lower depending on bidding and interest from speculators.

Guard price! Is the term we use that means it is the lowest accepted price that the auction must reach in order to be sold, this level is determined by the seller when the item is submitted.

Resale right / Droit De Suite! The concept applies to certain works of art and is a fee that goes to the artist or their heirs for the resale of their work.
Resale right is a law that must be followed.
Each item that is charged a resale right is clearly stated in the auction and is usually 5% of the final price.
