Things to think about before you bid

Keep in mind that all of our items are used in some sense. It is of the utmost importance to research the item you are interested in thoroughly before placing a bid. If you are unsure about an object, before you bid you should ask more questions, ask for more pictures or visit our premises so that you can look and review the object.

We attach great importance to profiling the products carefully and writing condition reports that closely match reality, usually well measured.
We know as an example that many auction houses never print weights, we have chosen to write weights on all items that we consider to be essential.

If you have other questions, you are most welcome to call our support phone or read more in our FAQ .

Valuation? Reserve price? Droit De Suite?

There are many words in the auction industry that can become a question mark for you as a buyer, in our FAQ you can read exactly what all terms mean.

Valuation! Is the concept we use as a benchmark for the object's actual value and is usually set based on the final price of previous auctions, note that this is only a benchmark and the actual final price can either be higher or lower depending on bidding and interest from speculators.

Reserve Price! Is the term we use that means it is the lowest accepted price that the auction must reach in order to be sold, this level is determined by the seller when the item is submitted.

Follow-up right / Droit De Suite! The term applies to certain works of art and is a fee that goes to the artist or their heirs for the resale of their work.
Right of way is a law that must be followed.
Each item that is charged resale right is clearly stated in the auction and is usually 5% of the final price.

Fees & Payment

You as the buyer pay a commission of 25% + SEK 80 on the clubbed price including VAT.
Example: An item you intend to buy costs SEK 1,000, the total cost will then be SEK 1,330 (This cost is also displayed before you place a bid in our platform)

Payment after invoicing must take place within 5 working days after winning the auction, if you are prevented it is important to notify us.

Payment can be made on site upon collection, we accept card payments, Swish, partial payment & bank transfers, you can also pay your purchases online by logging into your account at Auctionet.com

Norrlands Auktionsverk AB is a completely cashless business.

If you do not pick up or arrange transport for your purchased goods within the agreed time, we charge a storage fee which is currently SEK 50 / day for non-bulky items and SEK 100 / day for bulky items, welcome to contact us if you want know which category your item belongs to.
